The Doctor of Education Sciences program offered by East European University is the first English-language doctoral program in Georgia. To qualify for admission, candidates must:
● Hold a Master’s degree or an equivalent academic qualification
● Demonstrate research ability through:
○ Publications in the field
○ Participation in scientific-research projects
○ At least 2 years of relevant work experience
● Pass university internal examinations, including:
○ English language proficiency (unless exempted via international certification or prior degree in English within the last 2 years)
○ Interview with the field commission
Accepted international English certificates at C1 level include TOEFL, IELTS, CAE, and CERTUS.
Note: Elective courses can be substituted with academic modules from accredited Georgian or international institutions in accordance with recognition rules.
